What sets us apart from classic security providers: We are not installers, not a security guard company, and not a pure hardware reseller. We are the only German-speaking Advanced Certified Vaidio partner in the DACH region. This gives us access to the most mature AI vision platform on the market, with 21 AI modules and over 3,000 object classes.

Highly specialized AI analysis platforms were previously a privilege of authorities, banks, and large corporations. Their complexity and price made them out of reach for smaller businesses. Yet it is precisely these businesses that experience the threat most directly in an emergency: pharmacies, petrol stations, businesses with long opening hours and little staff.

Long before AI video analytics and data sovereignty became central topics, the team behind Synaedge worked on highly available systems, data center operations, data protection, networking, and the secure operation of critical IT infrastructures—deliberately independent of US clouds and traditional hyperscalers.

Synaedge is led by a management team shaped by technology, combining many years of experience in building and operating IT infrastructures, networks, and AI-based systems. The company was founded by the Swiss entrepreneur Hannes Widmer together with Anne-Katrin Michelmann and is today run as a closely interconnected European team.

The native of Dresden is a co-founder and Co-CEO of Synaedge AG, as well as Managing Director of Synaedge Deutschland GmbH. She is responsible for building up and further developing the German location and drives the positioning of innovative AI solutions, as well as the establishment of long-term customer and partner relationships.

Alejandro Bru Widmer was born and raised in Spain. As Managing Director of Synaedge Spain S.L., he is responsible for expansion in Spain. His many years of experience in the banking sector and in regulated, safety-critical environments shape his focus on sustainable business growth.
